The Upper House Hotel is steeped in local history, built in 1845 for Josiah Wedgwood’s grandson, Francis. Our afternoon tea’s are served on Wedgwood’s Wild Strawberry bone-china, produced in the village of Barlaston. There’s no better treat to celebrate a birthday, holiday or special occasion.
Savour the British afternoon tea tradition with a selection of finely cut sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve, and a mouth-watering range of elegantly presented cakes and sweet treats prepared and served fresh each day. Served with unlimited English Breakfast tea or fresh coffee.
We serve afternoon tea from 12.00pm until 5.00pm Monday to Saturday.
